From Stage Lights to Community Impact:
This is Chloe’s Journey
The saying “if you want to get something done, give it to a theater kid” highlights the strong work ethic, creativity, and adaptability of people who participate in theater. This is Chloe Swartz!
From the moment Chloe Swartz peeked into her living room to watch her older sister rehearse with friends for their upcoming shows at Stage 74, she felt the spark of something bigger, a sense of belonging. Stage 74 became the first place where Chloe saw creativity, friendship, and purpose woven together. That early glimpse grew into a relationship that shaped her entire childhood. From her first-grade debut in Oliver! to her upcoming final bow as Cady in Mean Girls, Chloe grew up under those stage lights. She found confidence in the wings, family in her castmates, and mentors who nurtured her voice both onstage and off. Her passion runs so deep that musical theater will follow her into college in some capacity. Chloe’s story is, at its core, about the profound power of community to shape a young person’s heart and purpose.
At the SYJCC, Chloe found a second home, a place where she could grow, connect, and truly start making things happen. Through Names Not Numbers, she
formed a life-changing bond with Holocaust survivor Rosalie Simon, whose story reshaped her understanding of empathy, responsibility, and the fight against hate. Chloe carried those lessons into her work at the Butler Center for Children and Adults with Special Needs, where supporting children and adults with special needs opened her eyes to the beauty of connection and unconditional inclusion. What started as a summer job became a calling that would define her senior year of High School, guiding her toward becoming someone who shows up, and leads with compassion.

Whether she is working on programs with BBYO, rehearsing at Stage 74, or heading straight from school to help the kids who rely on her, Chloe has built a web of
