Israel’s Fight for Existence

Presented by Steve Rochester

Three sessions of discussions on the incredible story of the rebirth of Israel. Including the struggles before and during the War of Independence 1947-1949,the Sinai War (1956), Six Day War (1967), Yom Kippur War (1973) and many more conflicts with their hostile neighbors. All throughout Israel showed strength and commitment!

Knitting and Crocheting Workshop

Works of fiber are described in details in the scriptures – relating to weaving. In the early years pre and post the birth of Israel, Knitting and Crocheting took hold.  Sweaters and hats were needed for the cold damp winters, and a crochet Kippah was all the rage. Join our own master knitter Beth Mukamal as she guides you in crafting your own knitted or crocheted creation. Make for yourself, your family or to give away to charities in Israel.
