Bubble Bumpers
Toddler & Me Swim Class

Ages 2-3 Years

Build confidence in and around the water, promote independence by using a flotation device in the pool, and teach pre-separation skills to encourage children to swim on their own.

Introduction to Water Skills

This is a beginner level for children with little to no experience in the water. Swimmers will learn how to feel comfortable in the water and safely enjoy it.

Beginner Adult Class

Introduction to Water Skills
6 weeks | 30 minute lessons

This class is designed for adults with little to no swimming experience or those who may feel uncomfortable in the water. Participants will learn the fundamentals of water safety, floating, breath control, and basic strokes at their own pace in a supportive and encouraging environment. Instructors focus on building comfort and confidence in the water while teaching essential skills such as submerging, kicking, gliding, and beginner freestyle techniques. No prior swimming experience is necessary – just a willingness to learn!

Advanced Adult Class

Stroke Improvement
6 weeks | 30 minute lessons

This class is designed for adults who are already confident in the water and have a solid foundation of swimming skills. Participants will refine their technique in all four competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly), improve efficiency and endurance, and practice advanced skills such as flip turns, diving, and lap swimming. Instructors focus on stroke refinement, breathing techniques, and building stamina, with personalized feedback to help each swimmer reach their goals. Ideal for adults interested in fitness swimming, preparing for triathlons, or simply improving overall swimming proficiency.

Children with Disabilities Swim Classes

6 Weeks | 30 minute sessions

5-10 years old : Introduction to Water Skills
Sundays | 11:00-11:30 am

*Has to have a support professional or parent with them in the pool.

This class is designed to provide a safe, welcoming, and adaptive environment for children with disabilities who are new to swimming or still developing comfort in the water. Our certified instructors use a patient, individualized approach to help each child learn water safety, floating, breath control, and basic swimming skills at their own pace. With small class sizes and supportive guidance, children gain confidence in the water while enjoying fun, positive experiences that encourage both skill development and comfort.

11-18 years old : Introduction to Water Skills
Sundays | 11:30 am-12:00 pm

This class is designed for children with disabilities who are already comfortable and confident in the water and have mastered basic swimming skills. Instructors focus on refining stroke technique, building endurance, and introducing more advanced skills such as coordinated breathing, diving, and lap swimming. Lessons are adapted to meet each child’s individual abilities and goals, ensuring a supportive and encouraging environment. Children will continue to strengthen their swimming ability, water safety awareness, and overall confidence while enjoying the fun and freedom of swimming at a higher level.

Aqua Fit

Adding water workouts to your fitness routine can provide many positive benefits. It is fun for all ages! Aqua Fit provides a total body workout for your joints, muscles and cardio.  It can also be relaxing and smoothly even while working hard.  Equipment provided to enhance your resistance training.

TRI-Hard Tribe

Our TRI-Hard Tribe is suit ready for their upcoming triathlons on Long Island this season!

After 3 years of training at the Suffolk Y JCC they are prepped and ready to run!

*In the event of thunder and lightning, all scheduled aquatic programs will be cancelled up through 30 minutes past the last crack of thunder and lightning.
