The SYJCC camps prides itself on its swim program. We follow the American Red Cross swim curriculum which has been proven to teach skills to even the most hesitant swimmer. Our swim staff is trained to work with campers of all swim abilities, using games & toys to make children more comfortable in the water. Our goal is to have every camper progress in the pool. Swim groups are small to ensure all campers have proper supervision. The aquatics department sends progress reports home every two weeks in order for parents to track their children’s progress. Many campers have even competed in the SYJCC’s swim team as a result of their camp swim experience.

Campers are grouped based on the grade in school they are entering in the fall. Camp Wonderland, Mini, Inter, Tween, Teen & Sports Campers groups are homogeneous.  Theater Camp groups can be mixed based on enrollment.  The SYJCC will make every effort to honor all grouping requests made on the request cards mailed home in the camp packet.

Daily Kosher lunch is included in the price of camp. To opt out of lunch service, a credit of $25/week will be applied to your account. Campers may also bring their own lunch which is refrigerated upon arrival at camp. We do provide a drink at lunchtime as well as an afternoon snack each day for every camper.

The SYJCC allows you to custom design your summer to fit into your busy schedule & budget. We do require a two-week camp minimum, however, they do not need to be consecutive.  The more weeks you register for, the bigger the savings!

Theater Campers must register for 4-week or 8-week session due to the programming.
