Zer Tikvah- Bouquets of Hope

Support the hostages and missing families forum by purchasing a bouquet of yellow flowers.

Bouquets will be available for purchase every Friday in the SYJCC Lobby, starting at 12:00 pm 

Fee $18 per bouquet

Celebrate Israel’s Resilience 

The festival of Tu B’Shevat is a celebration of the land of Israel, and a symbol of renewed growth of the Jewish people returning to their ancestral homeland. Help Israel rebuild and bloom again. JNF representative, Richard Abrams, will present JNF-USA in Past, Present & in the Future.

Shivat Haminim- The Seven Species Wall-Hanging 

JOIN US as we create a wall-hanging depicting the Seven Species, which the Land of Israel was blessed with. Calling all artists and novices, we need your help.

Tu B’Shevat Tree Planting Event 

In honor of Tu B’Shevat plant a mini tree and take it home.

Fee $5 per planting — Purchase in the SYJCC lobby.

Senior Shabbat Luncheon 

Join Bat-Sheva Slavin for a Tu B’Shevat celebration before lunch. Enjoy an afternoon filled with food, fun and good friends. Sing and dance to lively music
performed by performer Henry Covner.

Family Shabbat Dinner 

A JCC Movement Solidarity Shabbat

Join us for a Family Shabbat Dinner in honor of Tu B’Shevat. “Travel to Israel” – an interactive experience presented by My Jewish Discovery Museum. Singing and dancing with our own, Gayle Gitlitz, and a delicious Israeli Shabbat dinner will be served.
