Baby & Me
for babies 9-24 months

*Due to the Jewish Holidays we have pushed the start date.

Join us for a fun, engaging, and stimulating experience with Gayle Gitlitz, our Early Childhood Music Specialist. Focusing on increasing your child’s mobility, independence, confidence, and social skills while strengthening your parent-child bond. The program includes Jewish culture with Shabbat music, blessings/ceremony, singing, dancing, free play, and more!

2 sessions:

9-18 months | 9:15-10:00 am 
19-24 months | 10:15-11:00 am 

Begins: Friday, Ocotber 1, 2021

The program will be OUTDOORS under our tent, weather permitting.

NEW- Introduction to Yiddish

with Jonathan Geffner
A Yiddish scholar, teacher, and translator. He has a B.A. in Yiddish language and literature and has taught Yiddish classes for adults and children in many places.

Students will learn the basics of useful Yiddish conversation, and pronunciations as well as a familiarity with dialect differences. Topics covered will be, personal introductions, family relationships, eating, drinking, traveling, visiting, activities, professions, hobbies, vacations, emotions, idiomatic expressions and phrases, and more! This program is geared to beginners but those who have a rudimentary knowledge of Yiddish will benefit from it as well.

INTRODUCTION TO HEBREW & INTERMEDIATE HEBREW

Have you always wanted to learn Hebrew but have been put off by the challenge of foreign letters and reading in reverse? Fear no more! Come learn this ancient “new” language and reconnect with the Jewish roots and Israel. Learn basic reading skills that will lay the foundation for future Hebrew language studies. No prior knowledge of the Hebrew alphabet is needed!
